Aha! Success! Well - kind of...

Finally got everything to build. I turned off the Generate Debug Info for the Linker stage in both cvsnt and xml_xdiff and both are able to successfully compile. So I have finally managed to create a full build.

Of course, my first test after creating a full build is to see if I can get the executables working. cvs.exe complains that libxml2.dll and msvcr80.dll were missing, so I copied over the dlls to the winrel directory (cvsdeps\x32\libxml\bin\libxml2.dll and cvsdeps\sysfiles\msvcr80.dll), but cvs doesn't launch. Throws an R6034 Runtime Error - "An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. .... ".

I tried it from the WinDebug directory and got the same error as well.

Again, I am assuming this must be from some linking incompatibilities, but really have no idea where to start hunting them down.

Any thoughts / ideas?

Thanks!

Eric
