Dear, I have a problem with CVSNT icw windows and unix. I have some .sh files that always need the x-bit set for unix. I do editing on this file on a windows computer. When I commit this file from a windows computer, the x-bit information is removed from the permissions field in the ,v file on CVS. If I check now out the file on a unix computer, the file's x-bit is cleared which causes troubles. I'm thinking on extending the CVSNT with a new flag to -k to force the x-bit always on. This flag would only be evaluated on checkin to set the correct permissions field in the ,v file. Is this a wise goal? Best Regards, Guido
