Please respond to my address, as I don't want to join another e-mail list. When I use wincvs 1.2 and do a login, I get (logging in to admin at localhost) and CVS exited normally with code 0, then when I do a checkout, I get cvs checkout -P.... Fatal error, aborting. admin: no such user cvs checkout: authorization failed: server localhost rejected access to d:\REPOSITORY for user admin. How do I fix this error? why is it saying no such user for admin. I have a .passwd and a passwd file in d:\REPOSITORY\CVSROOT. login works fine if I type the correct password, otherwise it says cvs login: authorization failed: server localhost rejected access to d:\REPOSITORY for user admin which is the correct behavior for an incorrect password. WHY CAN'T I do a checkout???HELP PLEASE. Also, HOW DO I SEARCH THE ARCHIVES? there was no search feature.
