Bo - You can also try what I finally did to get the information - it was extremely informative. I ran tcpTrace (www.poketsoap.com), which takes everything on a specified ip/port, logs it to the screen or to a file and then forwards it to a different ip/port. I set it up to listen on the default port for the cvsnt server, changed the server to use default + 1 and retrieved all my requests/responses as passed over the socket (which was exactly what I wanted). Is there a summary of the environment variables CVS uses and how they are set up? I would very much like to know how the CVS_CLIENT_LOG setting is done. Set CVS_CLIENT_LOG=1???? And where does the log wind up? In the command window on WinCvs or elsewhere? /Bo -----Original Message----- From: Tony Hoyle [mailto:tmh at nothing-on.tv] Sent: den 22 augusti 2002 09:35 To: cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook Subject: Re: [cvsnt] How do I monitor client requests and pserver responses? It'll log communication both ways.
