You can't make this work.... CVSNT is specifically designed to have a close connection to the disk drive containing the repository. This disk drive must be a *local* drive to the PC running the CVSNT service. Everything else will be considered a 'hack' and may or may not seem to work. But in the long run you will risk corruption of your source file repository. What is more expensive, your source files and all work that has gone into them or a new disk drive on the CVSNT server??? /Bo -----Original Message----- From: "Cebrian Rodríguez, Guillermo" [mailto:gcebrian at aena.es] Sent: den 2 december 2002 08:47 To: 'cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook' Subject: [cvsnt] cvsnt with repository in a different machine hi, i have a problem with my installation of cvsnt. here we have a nt server but the repository have to stay in a different machine. the problem comes when cvs server on the nt machine tries to read de config file of the repository (which is in the different machine). it have a "Permission denied" response. where is the problem? i suppose the user used by cvs to access the repository have to be in the remote system like a qualified user. if so, which is that user? maybe LocalSystem? thanks _______________________________________________ cvsnt mailing list cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cvsnt https://www.march-hare.com/cvspro/en.asp#downcvs
