The problem is that when I run the setup I don't see the install option... It only says "Modify", "Repair" and "Remove". It also talks about maintenance of the program... I think that this is because it has detected that the same software has been installed before and so I am now only doing some extra stuff like adding an option or the like. This is how Microsoft/InstallShield does stuff.. :-( I don't even get the option of changing the default directory to do a parallel install, it all goes to the existing directory from the last install. So the bottom line probably is that I have to uninstall CVSNT first and then use the b62 setup to get it on-board again. /Bo -----Original Message----- From: Tony Hoyle [mailto:tmh at nodomain.org] Sent: den 12 december 2002 12:00 To: cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook Subject: Re: [cvsnt] Problem upgrading to build 62 Bo Berglund wrote: > I had my cvsnt server running on build 57j and needed it to be upgraded > past the revision where tagging info gets to standard input. Use the 'install' option (I've seen a couple of people recommend 'repair' but really this is playing with fire as that option is not designed to be used for upgrades, and doesn't do a full install). > Question: > Is there an issue with installing/repairing/modifying cvsnt using build 62 > setup on top of 57l??? No, it works fine - I run it on the build machines here to keep them up to date.
