Setup: Win2000 client connecting to Win2000 server via VPN Both using build 51 (8a) (even though dialogs still say build 50...?) Trying to use ntserver protocol Read readme and devguy notes config says SystemAuth=yes still have passwd file listing all users and domains anyway Local access of repository works fine. All checkboxes ticked in config tool except "use local accounts..." ------------------ Assuming server is "foo", and f:/cvs is the respository (f: is a local drive partition) when I trying something like:- cvs -d :ntserver:foo:f:/cvs ls CVSROOT I get : "cvs [ls aborted]: authorization failed: server alpha rejected access to f:/cvs" All commands do the same thing. I've even given everyone full access to the repository to ensure they have full rights. If I try running the cvsserver in test mode, it logs the start and end of the ntserver process but no other trace messages. I've also tried sspi, which just says the request was rejected but the remote machine I also tried using pserver which just causes CVS.EXE to crash on the server! I've spent 16 hours on this today so I would really appreciate some ideas on this - thanks.
