I tried to import a new vendor branch of a module into one which was imported earlier on vendor branch 1.1.1. While doing this I received the following error messages (under CVSNT build 57f): E:\>cd \m2dmitf3 E:\M2DMITF3>cvs import -m "Initial add of M2DMITF3." -b 2.1.1 M2DMITF igs_2 M2DMITF3_ADD cvs import: e:/src/master/M2DMITF/Current.trm,v: can't find branch point 2.1 cvs import: ERROR: Check-in of e:/src/master/M2DMITF/Current.trm,v failed cvs import: e:/src/master/M2DMITF/DEFAULT.PAT,v: can't find branch point 2.1 cvs import: ERROR: Check-in of e:/src/master/M2DMITF/DEFAULT.PAT,v failed I M2DMITF/m2dmitf3.zip etc... cvs import: Importing e:/src/master/M2DMITF/WIN32OBJ I M2DMITF/WIN32OBJ/Sample.obj cvs import: Importing e:/src/master/M2DMITF/WIN32SYM No conflicts created by this import Is such an import really not possible using CVS? PS: Just for testing I have executed this using a local repository. However, the import also fails using the pserver protocol. -- Gerhard Stegemann _______________________________________________ Cvsnt mailing list Cvsnt at cvsnt.org http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cvsnt https://www.march-hare.com/cvspro/en.asp#downcvs
