Tony, below is a report from a user that has found that the cvsnt crashes on him with certain settings in the configuration. I also have an email from an Indian guy that says that the cvsnt creates an exception on authentication in certain combinations of domain/local_system and Impersonate yes/no etc. Is there a known problem concerning this in the latest distro (57d)? Regards, Bo -----Original Message----- From: Eduard Wulff [mailto:mail at eduard-wulff.de] Sent: den 3 juni 2002 09:46 To: Bo.Berglund at system3r.se Subject: Your CVSNT-Setup procedure Hello Bo, I harvested your email adress from google and I am refering to your treatise on CVSNT found at http://w1.858.telia.com/~u85831169/InstallCVSNT.html (At least I hope its yours since there was no email provided). I had some difficulties setting CVSNT up and your writeup helped a lot, thanks! Setting up the repository-prefix is very helpful. I use a German Windows NT 4 and 5 and trying to set up :pserver: the service *crashed* on authentication. I used passwords in passwd and did not change anything in the configuration file (maybe I should...). Figuring what goes wrong (RegMon, FileMon) it seemed to be a security problem. So I tried Your 7d step different: Disable Impersonation. That cut the cake for me...
