Hi, I am using my notebook (W2K SP2) as CVS server at home and at work. At home, my client machine is a WinXP computer (no domain) and everything works well. At work, the client machine is also a WinXP computer, but pserver login fails with the following message: "cvs [login aborted]: unrecognized auth response from zaphod: cvs authserver: E cannot open c:/cvs/CVSROOT/config: Permission denied" I use the same version of CVS.EXE on the server and on the client and it doesn't matter if I use WinCVS or command line CVS - it's always the same message. Does anybody have a clue what could be wrong?
