Reading some recent email brought up the question of which cvs to use cvsnt= or cvs? Terris said in a recent email that you should use CVSNT on Linux = over the vanilla CVS. How close are the two? The vanilla is on 1.11.2 and= cvsnt is on 1.11.1.3(57F). Do these version numbers relate? I'm not tryi= ng to take anything away from Tony's effort, and certainly I like seeing fr= equent builds. Beside the ability to run the server on Windows where have = the versions split. Also, is there a doc for cvsnt that does show the difference in commands? = I've been trying to use :ntserver: to work with permissions on directories = on the repository and feel like I'm chasing my tail reading different versi= ons of how the authenticate and control access, and then being referred bac= k to the original cvs docs, which don't cover :ntserver: and talk about thi= ngs that I'm told don't work when using :ntserver: Thanks, -pkg _________________ Paul K Gleske HEIDELBERG 121 Technology Dr Durham, NH 03824 USA (603) 750-6151 _______________________________________________ Cvsnt mailing list Cvsnt at cvsnt.org http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cvsnt https://www.march-hare.com/cvspro/en.asp#downcvs
