Thanks but it is RESOLVED!!!! Tony said awhile ago it was likely a virus program or firewall. I had both. I shut down every program/service I had and still no go. The other day I ended up rebuilding a system and took notice to test cvsnt as I went along. It was sygate personal firewall. Even though the program was not running, it took an uninstall to get things going. Thanks for the help. I would never have guessed that a non-running program would cause such actions.
