A small clarification. I started working on the autoupdate thing today and somehow got things working using the CVSNTUPD files. As u can see I am definitely not an expert here but I guess its better to share my experience. The script is invoked from the loginfo file. The log info file should consist of a regular expression which identfies the module being checked in. It shows no dependence as to who is checking in. I guess one very straightforward thing that u could do is to see whether an event is scheduled to run when a person commits the file. This could be seen by Setting-->Control Panel--> Scheduled Tasks. I hope u r on the WINNT platform. If u see a job being scheduled then atleast sth is working. Please get back with this input. I also reset the permissions on the locks directory as Arvind suggested, but this was already set to everyone with full control, and still doesn't work :( Very strange.
