I currently have the latest cvsnt (build 57a) running on W2K Server with domain accounts, NTFS partition, and Cygwin sshd. (BTW--the repository is in d:\cvs. A working client-side CVSROOT was hard to find, but /cygdrive/d/cvs works.) I can ssh into the server across the internet, and cvs works over ssh except for the following: 1. Binary files are corrupted, either upon commit or checkout. Running WinCVS 1.3.6.1, and then 1.3b7, on W2K Pro with Cygwin ssh, I can commit binary files and check them out, but the file size increases. For example, a Word doc with 1 line of text increased in size from 19,456 bytes to 19,462 bytes. And the WinCvs136.zip binary increased from 2,192,831 bytes to 2,201,600 bytes. I've duplicated this behavior from 3 different client workstations, on both cvsnt 1.11.1.2 and build 57a. 2. My domain account was locked out 3 times so far in this testing, from 2 different locations, accessing cvs over the internet via ssh. At first the server was running cvsnt 1.11.1.2, and now it's running build 57a. I'm was hoping 57a would fix it, but it didn't. Do you think the problem is cvsnt or cygwin ssh, and why? Any thoughts?
