Is this a problem of cvsnt ( as I beleive) or of WinCVS? You must use 'edit -c' and 'commit -c' in every single edit/commit command. This of course won't really stop you editing the files, but it should make it harder. If you really want to stick with reserved edits IMHO PVCS was a better choice. cvs is specifically designed for concurrent development. Tony
