I've been trying to set up our Linux server as our CVS repository. I've tried both 1.11.1p3 and 1.11.2, and neither of them seems to understand the "cvs passwd" command from the CVSNT client running on our Windows clients. Is this (the "cvs passwd" feature) proprietary to the CVSNT port? Has the source forked or something? Or is it just that there hasn't been a mainline release for CVS with this fix in it (1.11.2 on the main line was released on April 27, 2002 - was the "passwd" feature added after this)? Supplementary question: I suppose I can just build the CVSNT source buildable on Linux? What's in 1.11.2 on the main sourceline that's not in 1.11.1.3 CVSNT? Thanks, -- Shankar.
