Hi, I'm interested in knowing what branch the user is working on when he does a commit so that I create a commitinfo script that can "lock-down" write access to some branches. The easiest way I could get this functionality was to set a "CVS_BRANCH" environment variable during the commit so that commitinfo script could inspect that variable.
