I've checked out many repositories on my work machine (read "fast connection") that I also want to work on with my home machine (read "slow connection"). I was transferring the file as a zip archive, and my archiving program ignored the hidden directories. The hiding of the CVS directories is not a killer problem, but it is not the standard behavior of CVS, which surprised me, and I wanted to know if there was an option to return CVSNT to standard operation. Why do you want to show them?
