We're using cvsnt in our department for more than a year know. From the beginning we made heavily use of ampersand modules. Currently we use version 1.11.1.3-72 on the server and on all clients. With version 2.0.1a we get completely different results. With version 1.11.1.3-72 it worked like this: modules: __submod1 -d Project\submod1 dir1 __submod2 -d Project\submod2 dir2 __submod3 -d Project\submod3 dir3 mainmod1 -d MainMod1 &__submod1\ &__submod2\ &__submod3 A "cvs co mainmod1" produced the following working copy: MainMod1 | +-Project | +-submod1 +-submod1 +-submod1 A "cvs co -d MainXXX mainmod1" only changed the toplevel dir to "MainXXX". The rest remained the same. With server version 2.0.1a the same commands result in a completely different working copy : "cvs co mainmod1" gives: (null) | +-__submod1 +-__submod1 +-__submod1 "cvs co -d MainXXX mainmod1" gives: MainXXX | +-__submod1 +-__submod1 +-__submod1 So it seems to me that the -d option in the modules file is ignored. As we rely on the behaviour of version 1.11.1.3-72 the new version is unusable for our department. It would be nice if you could reenable this behaviuor.
