np - BTW: Whenever I rename, or make changes in the repository, I like to follow these steps: 1 - make sure I've done all commits in (i.e. I get a 'clean' update). 2 - Modify the repository to how I want it to be 3 - delete the entire subtree from the parent of the error (or back them up some where/ move them) 4 - do a cvs up at that point, and simply let CVS create all of my files and CVS directories again! The benefit here, is that you're still letting CVS be the boss, and all of your CVS directories will be created just as CVS wants them to be. >>> "Tam, Aharon" <a.tam at cdcixis-na.com> 8/27/2003 2:53:03 PM >>> Aaron thanks, You are right! In the sibling CVS Entries file still had the empty folder. I removed the directory but wincvs still shows the directory as if it exists, though I can't access it from cvs because it is really not there. Wincvs changes a bit the icon for that folder. As if to tell the folder And if I update with Prune Empty Directory it does not remove that folder. Whats the error? >>> "Tam, Aharon" <a.tam at cdcixis-na.com> 8/27/2003 11:23:30 AM >>> Hello Mike, I have the same problem. I am unable to remove empty directories from the repository. Did you find a way how to do it?
