De: Bo Berglund [mailto:Bo.Berglund at system3r.se] Enviado el: jueves 28 de agosto de 2003 13:48 Para: Pedro Horrillo; cvsnt mailing list Asunto: RE: [cvsnt] Is usage of cvs.exe (as client) discouraged at thehostwhere the repository lives? Thanks. I think that this was the issue I had read about. It comes to me that in :local: mode, there could be a problem of simultaneous access to the repository, since the cvsserver process will not arbitrate the user-launched cvs.exe. I will set it up to use the :sspi: protocol, just like the other clients. > Just make sure the local use of cvs does NOT use :local: mode!!! > You should connect to the server in exactly the same way you do from > the other clients using whatever client/server protocol you have set up. > > Since you are more used to unix/linux I assume you have Linux users and have > configured pserver.
