It could also be that you've got notifications turned on, a remote mail server, and trying to send mail for various actions - and failing. Is DNS used to resolve the name of your server into an IP address? If so, here are two ideas to try: - Fix your DNS setup so that resolving the server doesn't use DNS. In particular, use a "hosts" file. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=108295 - Use an IP address instead of a server name in your CVSROOT setting. Hope this helps.
