I would highly discourage that. That would start having your clients use a C/S system back in file-share mode which is much slower, which could lead to timing problems (and obviously performance issues). You should move to SSPI protocol if you're changing protocols. Can't use a UNC path in any case. Any more specifics on _why_ you want to change to local from ntserver? It's deprecated, but SSPI should take it's place nicely. Someone just posted within the last few days some info on changing the ROOT file directly to update existing sandbox protocols from ntserver to SSPI, if that's any help. Regards, Glen Starrett
