I mointored it with filemon to see what it was doing - it extracted straight to c:\windows & didn't even touch the temp directories. That one also has Me too... the compression seems to be a good one. At the moment you can't use iscc to comple 7zip which means I have to call the istool GUI in the build script. Tony
