I think you've got the CVSROOT wrong. Try: CVSROOT = :sspi:cvs_server:\Test For SSPI or: CVSROOT = :pserver:cvs_server:\Test For pserver. If that doesn't work, make sure you can ping "cvs_server" from your machine. I have always had difficulty getting the command line options correct, and am now using TortoiseCVS. > -----Original Message----- > From: Aaron [mailto:agmz at yahoo.com] > Sent: Tuesday, February 18, 2003 11:19 PM > To: cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook > Subject: [cvsnt] Couldn't connect to named pipe > > > I am trying to install CVSNT on a Windows. > > Initially I wanted to go with SSPI for authenticiation > but could not get it to work. > > I now want to try pserver just to get something > working but I get the following message. > > cvs [passwd aborted]: Couldn't connect to named pipe > on remote machine: Error 1326 > > I have CVSROOT = :ntserver:cvs_server:/Test > > I've configured my firewall to allow connections to > port 2401. > > > Also, if someone can point me to detailed instructions > for SSPI I can try that too. > > Thanks, > Aaron > > > > > __________________________________________________ > Do you Yahoo!? > Yahoo!
