My situation is a bit different from yours: 1) I had everything up and running fine for everything with build 57j, I can use ViewCvs to browse the modules and look at the files etc. 2) Then I switched to CVSNT build 68 and committed a change to one single file. ViewCvs is now showing errors for this file only. 3) The problem is not with permissions etc because that would hit *everything*, in my case there is one single file that cannot be diffed or viewed. But I can still browse the module and view the other nonchanged files. 4) I am not using a share as repository, I have a local drive. 5) If I manually edit out the three extra lines in the RCS file that CVSNT put there, then everything is back to normal. So I need a viewcvs or CVSNT fix that addresses the inability to handle the extra info in the RCS file without crashing. Here are revision examples from two files: First the good file (displays just fine and was last written by CVSNT build 57j): 1.2 date 2002.12.28.10.31.21; author bosse; state Exp; branches; next 1.1; Then the bad file written by CVSNT build 68: 1.12 date 2003.01.22.23.08.17; author bosse; state Exp; branches; next 1.11; permissions 666; commitid 1583e2f24603862; kopt kv; The last three lines is extra info that breaks viewcvs. If removed then everything is OK again. /Bo (Bo Berglund, developer in Sweden)
