could somebody explain why the cvs.exe from cvsnt project cannot perform cvs edit or unedit command in offline mode? The basic unix implementation can make this without problem, it reports that it is not possible connect to the server, but it makes file writeable and moved it into cvs/base folder. So the unedit comand also can be applied in offline.
Why this behavior changed? Is there any ways to have the same behavior on CVSNT?
For me, working in offline is very important feature of cvs, and current behavior of CVS.exe from CVS NT, make this impossible.
