There were a couple proposed a little while back--Dave had a nice one that included automatic date-stamping (below) and I had one that did a directory-based aging. I put together a quick wiki page for you to refer to (and others after you as well since this comes up once in awhile). I'm not sure where would be best to link it in from the rest of the wiki. Anyone have ideas, go ahead and link it in. It does pop up to the top of the search list if anyone searches for "backup". http://www.cvsnt.org/wiki/BackupRepository Regards, Glen Starrett -----Original Message----- From: cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org [mailto:cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org]On Behalf Of Paul Higgs (CA/EUS) Sent: Thursday, July 03, 2003 9:08 PM To: cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook Subject: [cvsnt] Backup of CVS NT Hi Does anyone have a command file that can make a good backup of the CVS repositories. Basically I want to make a snapshot of the CVS and .ZIP it all into one file that can be archived. Any hints etc would be much appreciated. Sorry if this is an "old topic" but the Web archives of this group are down at the moment.
