Hi, I've recently installed CVSNT and WinCVS on 2 separate computers. I'm trying to get WinCVS to access the CVSNT server over my LAN and I'm trying to use ntserver as my protocol. I'm getting the following error when I try to remotely checkout a module using WinCVS. > cvs [checkout aborted]: Couldn't connect to named pipe on remote machine: Error 231 I read that this could be a file permissions problem, but I've mapped the directory between both computers. I read that sspi is a better protocol to use, but when I try to checkout a module I get the following >cvs [server aborted]: can't create temporary directory C:\cvstemp/cvs-serv228: Permission denied >cvs [checkout aborted]: reading from server: error -1 Both of the computers are using Windows XP-Pro. Thanks, Matt
