Community technical support mailing list was retired 2010 and replaced with a professional technical support team. For assistance please contact: Pre-sales Technical support via email to sales@march-hare.com.

It has come to my attention that a file can be marked as locked, even though the
same user is trying to commit changes, if the user logs in using different
cApItAlIzAtIoN when logging in to their machine.

The issue is we are using Igloo, which marks the file as being edited (and
watched) and if the user logs in the next day with a different capitalization,
all attempts to commit cause a warning message to pop up.

We are using SSPI or NTSERVER (I'm trying to retire the latter) with fairly
recent CVSNT releases. The server is running Release 1.11.3.1-73 (I'm
installing 75 as I write this). Could there be an option added to the server to
make the editor/watcher names be case-insensitive?

TIA

John
