The CVSNT repository consists of ordinary files that are mostly not in use. They can be backed up by any backup utility. But to make sure you get a good snapshot you could enhance the process by: net stop cvs (backup cvs repository) net start cvs Regarding the files, yes I think you can copy them over and use them. But I have mostly heard about people going the other way and then you have to look out for the "friendly" file corruption WinZip offers when unpacking the TAR files..... /Bo -----Original Message----- From: Keith D.
