I tried to use VS DotNet instead of VC6 to get around the resource problem. But now I get other strange errors like these: sserver.c(26) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'openssl/ssl.h': No such file or directory and again later: LockParse.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "__declspec(dllimport) char const `private: static char const * __cdecl std::basic_string<char,struct std::char_traits<char>,class std::allocator<char> >::_Nullstr(void)'::`2'::_C" (__imp_?_C@?1??_Nullstr@?$basic_string at DU?$char_traits at D@std@@V?$allocator at D@2@@std@@CAPBDXZ at 4DB) LockParse.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "__declspec(dllimport) private: void __thiscall std::basic_string<char,struct std::char_traits<char>,class std::allocator<char> >::_Split(void)" (__imp_?_Split@?$basic_string at DU?$char_traits at D@std@@V?$allocator at D@2@@std@@AAEXXZ) referenced in function "void __cdecl std::_Construct(struct Lock *,struct Lock const &)" (?_Construct at std@@YAXPAULock@@ABU2@@Z) LockParse.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "__declspec(dllimport) void __cdecl std::_Xran(void)" (__imp_?_Xran at std@@YAXXZ) referenced in function "void __cdecl std::_Construct(struct Lock *,struct Lock const &)" (?_Construct at std@@YAXPAULock@@ABU2@@Z) ../WinRel/cvslock.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 3 unresolved externals still later: LINK : fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file '\Engineering\Projects\cvsnt\protocols\Release\sserver_protocol.lib' I have updated my cvsnt sandbox with the 'create missing dirs' box checked, but still there is no trace of a protocols/openssl directory or the ssl.h file therein... Something is fishy with the protocols/sserver stuff. What am I missing? /Bo (Bo Berglund, developer in Sweden)
