I am trying to switch from the ntserver protocol to sspi. And it worked on a test machine. But on the working server I get the following error message: cvs -d :sspi:bcn at mailgw:/HMI login Logging in to :sspi:bcn at mailgw:2401:/HMI cvs [login aborted]: Can't authenticate - server and client cannot agree on an authentication scheme I have a local user (bcn) on the server. I have added bcn to the passwd file and I set SystemAuth=no in the config file and restarted the CVSNT service, but not the server machine. To be able to connect with the ntserver protocol I had one drive apped to the server, on the test machine I didn't need that to be able to connect with the sspi protocol. So as a second test towards the working server I disconnected the mapped drive and restarted my workstation. I would like to know if I have to rastart the server, but I would like to avoid that, when all the other users should switch protocol.
