Hi all, this makes no difference, since 'sspi' and 'ntserver' does not require explicit specification of login name. It operates with login of current Windows user, in contrast to for example 'pserver' (as i understand). Thank you for response anyway :-) Anybody else having idea for solution to my trouble? I hardly can believe that this problem is so sporadic... though haven't succeed to find helpful clues on web so far, strange. My CVSROOT looks like: :sspi:james at cvsserver:/Development and this works well. I've installed 2.0.11 (later 2.1.1) on my system according to InstallationTips, but for some reason the connection from client is not as painless as i've expected. I've only succeeded to establish communication via 'ntserver' and 'local' protocols so far - too bad, 'cause i have to use 'pserver' or 'sspi'. Project repository was created correctly and i don't have any firewall nor antivirus SW active. I would appreciate some hint.
