I've just gone back and installed 2.0.8 and everything works fine. Our development clients are on XP, and I found some other info about aliasing domain users on the CVS server for XP... dunno if that was it or if Webshpere Studio just likes 2.0.8, but so far so good. Checked in 4 large projects
without any problems, so we'll give it a go.

Might have to hold back on setting up that Linux box after all .... :o)

Cheers,

Scott.

WSAD isn't a platform I use (which tends to be what constitutes
'official' support on CVSNT) but one of the things the stable branch
is designed to do is to be static enough for outside projects to start
working with it (or reporting bugs as appropriate). I'd expect it to
work OK by now.

2.0.10 is stable enough... there's the import problem I mentioned
(which is probably worthy of a 2.0.11 before I merge in any new stuff)
but it's not got anything else wrong with it that I'm aware of.
bugzilla is mostly wishlist stuff at the moment... I'm holding off any
major changes until I get 2.1.x back on track.

>The fact that it fails to write a dump is also strange - The directory where the dump is being written to has full r/w for all users (inc the CVSUser group). It gets as far as creating a 0 bytes file, and then stops, saying it failed to write the dump.

Maybe it's trying to write as LocalSystem (who isn't in 'Everyone'
IIRC)?

Tony
