I have just updated the cvs client and server from 2.0.11 to 2.0.34. I did an update on an existing sandbox and got this message: cvs -q update -P (in directory U:\production\) P projects/other_folders_omitted/P.java cvs [server aborted]: cannot write CVS/Entries.Backup: Permission denied Why do I get this message? I did not get it before upgrading. Can someone tell me if this message comes from the server (repository) or on the client (sandbox)? cvs version Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.0.34 (client/server) Server: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.0.34 (client/server) I find it strange that I got this message just once, a second identical (same sandbox) update works fine!! Any comments? Thanks in advance -- Kevin Agius
