Gosh, of course I do know how to connect to a cvs repo from the command
line! Wake up, man! Mucho stupido!

When I try "cvs login" (after having exported the proper CVSROOT setting) I
get:
cvs [login aborted]: the :pserver: access method is not installed on this
system

This is very puzzling, as I just compiled and installed the whole enchilada
from scratch!

Any clues?
