Well, I actually have no good access to a W2003 server so that is a config I cannot test myself. But since the W2003 is pretty locked down I have added functions to try and fix some issues on those servers among which is that I copy the cmd.exe from System32 to the GnuWin32 folder so that some commands can run even on this box. Concerning the use of IIS or Apache I admit that it is checking for these in the IIS-Apache order and use whichever is found first. Could probably put the detection result into a check dialogue so the user can select himself what to use... However, right now I am struggling with CVSMailer - trying to make it run properly with CVSNT above 2.0.43. So I will put off changes to the ViewCvs installer a while. If you find out what is the problem and if you find solutions than please drop me a line and I will try to put this into the install script. First, my server has both IIS6 and Apache 1.3 installed, with Apache being the main server and IIS6 on port 81. The installation seems to be giving preference to IIS :-) While the installation seems to work smoothly, I'm not able to get things to start up. Is there a way to force the installation to use the Apache config instead of IIS? Do you know of any other common problems with W2K3 server? I've installed ViewCVS by hand before and have it working on our production machine fine, but I was hoping to take advantage of your hard work this time around :-) Thanks, John Cole -----Original Message----- From: cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org [mailto:cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org]On Behalf Of Bo Berglund Sent: Saturday, August 14, 2004 9:53 AM To: cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook Subject: [cvsnt] ViewCvs4CVSNT Installer updated I have now updated the ViewCvs installer with the following enhancements: - Latest ViewCvs files from SourceForge as of Aug 14, 2004 - New version of CVSGraph that fixes recent problems - Now also includes the Gzip package needed for Tarball download - Fixes problem with RepositoryPrefix from CVSNT 2.0.44 and up I have not been able to do extensive tests with this so any bug reports are welcome.
