Yes, I am aware of this. But I am asking if someone who has 2.0.51 running with CVSMailer can check if the tag operations work OK or not. I myself have two servers at my disposal: 1) My test server, currently 2.0.58d and showing this error 2) My opensource server where I keep my sources, currently 2.0.38 I don't want to mess with 2) and I have a feeling that downgrading 1) to 2.0.51 will not give the right answers since i have seen messages from Tony stating that 2.0.58 is actually updating the *contents* of the repository files when it starts if it sees that they were made with an earlier version. So this leads me to believe that my test server is already "poisoned" with 2.0.58... A better test would be for a 2.0.51 CVSNT server that has never been above this revision could use CVSMailer and check tagging emails. /Bo -----Original Message----- From: cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org [mailto:cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org]On Behalf Of Glen Starrett Sent: den 6 december 2004 06:58 To: cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook Subject: [cvsnt] Re: Problems using CVSMailer Tag Bo Berglund wrote: > Can you verify what happens if you downgrade to 2.0.51? You probably know this already, but all the older versions are available at http://www.cvsnt.org/archive/ . -- Glen Starrett _______________________________________________ cvsnt mailing list cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cvsnt https://www.march-hare.com/cvspro/en.asp#downcvs
