Thanks. Can I just confirm that all I need to do to get it working is to give full access to the SYSTEM user (which cvsnt uses)? Do I have to enable "ntserver" or "impersonation" in Control Panel? I assume, cvsnt queries the NTFS file system in regards to the users permissions, and on whatever NTFS returns, uses that return to allow/deny access? Is there a log file anywhere which cvsnt writes to (can I turn loggin on if it isnt?) that I can view exactly whats happen? If I could see it, I would have known straight away that cvsnt was being denied access directly to the repository... >From: "zze-origami PERRON J ext FTRD/DIH/REN" ><jperron.ext at rd.francetelecom.com> >To: "Mathew Plattz" <plattze at hotmail.com>, <cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook> >Subject: RE: [cvsnt] Permission Problems >Date: Fri, 23 Jan 2004 09:18:14 +0100 > >Hi, > >I guess your problem is that the user used for cvsnt service does not >have r/w access to repositories. >What I did and it worked : >Create a "CVSNT" user that is local administrator. >Create a "CVSAdmin" group (if not done yet) and add CVSNT to the group. >Give r/w access to repository and all modules to the CVSAdmin group. >Check the cvsnt Service properties, connection must be done with the >CVSNT user. > >Hope this helps... > >JP. > >-----Message d'origine----- >De : cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org [mailto:cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org]De la part >de Mathew Plattz >Envoye : vendredi 23 janvier 2004 08:04 >A : cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook >Objet : [cvsnt] Permission Problems > > >Hi, I'm having some problems with Authentication and Permissions on >cvsnt. > >CVSNT is version 2.0.14, and on Windows 2000 Server. > >I want the repository interlinked via the Windows Domain Authentication >(and >NTFS folder permissions) I have done a default install of cvsnt and >added >the repositories.
