Well it seems to be working now.

I went through the installation procedure step by step and noticed that
machine 2
had a temporary file set to winnt/temp.  I changed this to cvstemp and - hey
preto -
action !

If we can get other people up and running on this then I expect I'll be back
with
more questions.  Cheers.
