Hi, Just set up CVSNT 2.0.23 on a Debian Linux box. Seems OK, except when I do C:\TEMP>cvs -d :pserver:tma at linux1.aal.gatehouse:/cvs/av ls Listing modules on server cvs [server aborted]: Failed to obtain lock on /home/data/cvsdata/aal/av: 001 FAIL Lock not within repository It should be noted that "/cvs/av" is a symbolic link to "/home/data/cvsdata/aal/av". This is our standard setup (with "vanilla" CVS), and indeed login/checkout/commit works fine. It's apparently only "ls" that gives trouble. -Torsten
