Just having some problems with permissions on cvsnt and wincvs. Not
sure who's problem it is :/
I've setup the repository. Basic structure is:
/Documentation
+-----------/Doco
+----------Admin
| +---------Folder1
| +---------Folder2
+----------Else
Folder1
Folder2
IT
Folder1
Folder2
Other
Folder1
Folder2
It's not exactly the structure but you get the idea :-) Now, the
Permissions for each is different. Admin only selected people have
access, IT, only IT group have access, and Else and other everyone has
read only access and admins hve read/write access.
Now, the permissions have been setup via NTFS permissions and are
working fine!
The problem is that when someone who doesn't have access to all the
folders tries to download the "Doco" module under Documentation, the
second it hits a sub-module (folder) it doesn't have permission to,
WinCVS fails and aborts, and doesn't continue to other modules which it
would have access to.
How do I find this?
