Oh, I'll upgrade to 2.0.23, though the problem was fixed by allowing access only to a restricted set of users (by using CVSROOT/passwd, as I said in the previous e-mail). Thanks for the support (and for the XP users tip, I knew about that user management system in win2k, but I panicked when I saw what XP shows when running the colorful user accounts control panel applet :) ). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony Hoyle" <tmh at nodomain.org> Newsgroups: support.cvsnt To: <cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook> Sent: Saturday, January 31, 2004 7:53 PM Subject: Re: [cvsnt] Windows "guest" account and impersonation > > Use the latest version (2.0.23) as the new authentication code > verifies the status of the account before logging in. > > Setting a password on guest is possible in XP - > go to control panel/administrative tools/computer management/ > local users and groups/users and right click on the username. > > Tony > > _______________________________________________ > cvsnt mailing list > cvsnt at cvsnt.org cvsnt downloads at march-hare.com @CVSNT on Twitter CVSNT on Facebook > http://www.cvsnt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cvsnt https://www.march-hare.com/cvspro/en.asp#downcvs > > > --------------------------------------------------------------- > Cauta-ti perechea pe http://dating.acasa.ro > >
