I am attempting to get CVSNT running on a AMD ATHLON 64 Based machine. I am running Windows 2003,EE, Service Pack 1, v.1069. Basically I want this as an autobuild machine for our sourceforge project. I have setup cvsnt previously without issue and expected the same on the 2003, but I get no applet to run the cvs, the service appear to function without issue, but need the cvs to be 100% sure of that fact. Looking through the archives I found this >From tmh at nodomain.org Wed Nov 5 14:56:13 2003 From: tmh at nodomain.org (Tony Hoyle) Date: Fri Mar 5 01:18:41 2004 Subject: [cvsnt] CVSNT and Win2003 Server 64Bit References: mailman.144.1068043752.731.cvsnt at cvsnt.org Message-ID: cj3iqvcdt8cfsml20nh9875d0528j44gqi at 4ax.com On Wed, 5 Nov 2003 15:46:38 +0100, "Christian Schmelzer" schmelzc at fh-trier.de> wrote: .. {clipped question out as same issue as mine} ... It's possible control panel applets in Win64 have to be 64bit... Ifyou have a 64bit compiler then you could try recompiling it to see what happens. My impressions of the beta 1 release weren't very favourible, so I wiped it 10 minutes after installing it (no .NET compatibility, so you can't run VS.NET on it, for example, plus no directx). Hopefully the next release will be more featureful. Tony I know just enough about compilers to be dangerous so if someone has gone through this already and taken notes I would greatly appreciate any info. Especially, them telling what compiler from which site and this library from that site. I can follow instructions. I just don't know the modern programming languages, the only languages I ever messed with where cobol, rpg, and pascal in college a loooong time ago. It would epecially be nice if they used open source software to make this work.
