The MS website no longer supports IE2 (which ships with NT4) so you can't download the service packs/IE6 easily... I end up having to copy the stuff between machines, then there's another 100MB or so of security updates... On top of that VS.NET won't run on it, which means debugging is quite 'challenging' :) NT4 should work mostly anyway, as the Win32 API hasn't changed that much over the years... however as MS aren't fixing bugs in it any more you occasionally get issues with buggy API calls, etc. Tony
