do you mean the nod32 faq? have found there an entry which says that apache uses socks in a non common way. and you have to compile it again.
but, than it is a fault in cvs, or isn't it?

and any idea how to fix it?
i have tried to end the service and all nod32 related, and than tried again to get cvs up. both methods (pserver and sspi) didn't work. same error messages as before.
