Hello, I'm trying to work with cvsnt on a NetBSD 1.6.2 server so I can have sserver, and figured that it'd be good to just have the one version of CVS floating around. I've compiled up cvsnt and it seems to compile ok, but before I replace the normal cvs stuff with cvsnt, I thought I'd better check that the client would behave. I'm seeing this when I try to do a cvs up -Pd in /usr/pkgsrc : rollcage2# ./cvs -v Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.0.35 (client/server) .... rollcage2# /usr/local/bin/cvs up -Pd cvs update: CVSROOT "anoncvs at anoncvs.netbsd.org:/cvsroot" must be an absolute pathname cvs [update aborted]: Bad CVSROOT. The same command works fine with the standard cvs. Is this something I'm misunderstanding in how cvsnt works? Do I need to do a clean checkout rather than try and use cvsnt in this ad-hoc way? thanks! Carl
