Hi No need to uninstall the whole thing: what's confusing is that there's a checkbox to "disable" IMON but that's just switching off the scanning not removing it from the winsock stack. You need to press the "Stop" button and then confirm removeal of the thing. After a restart everything worked on my box. Well english is not my mother tongue but I think the Nod32-guys confused the semantics of "stop" and "disable". -- Mark -----Original Message----- From: cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org [mailto:cvsnt-bounces at cvsnt.org] On Behalf Of Craig Gaffney Sent: Mittwoch, 17. Same error message. Rebooted and followed all the steps again. Same error message again. If I try and get NOD32 removed from the machine, the sys admin will come for me with a baseball bat (or worse), so I'm not sure what I will be able to do. Looks like I start pressing for a linux/BSD box to house the CVS Server & repository. My thanks to everyone that has helped so far. I see now. Damn. That means I'll have to restarted the service, then disable IMON, then reboot and hopefully all will work. OK, I'll try this and see what happens. I'm not familiar with that. Do you mean control > panel? > No, the control centre. It's the little white/green icon in the task bar that has an two coloured 'o' on it. It's also in the 'all programs/eset' menu on the start menu. It's not just the service - nod32 replaces the sockets layer, which is the problem. Disabling imon causes it to undo its breakage.
