I just downloaded the lastest CVSNT (version 2.0.34). I followed the install instructions (http://www.cvsnt.org/wiki/InstallationTips). I can run the cvs command and get the various help pages its version etc but then I try and list files the service crashes with a dialog like this: cvsnt service cvsnt service has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. My environment variable is set: cvsroot=:sspi:TheLesliesMain:/TEST and the command line I tried is: cvs ls -l -R after I dismiss the error dialog box I get this on the command line: cvs [ls aborted]: Can't authenticate - server and client cannot agree on an authentication scheme (got '') Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have other friends who are running this successfully on their XP boxes but for some reason I cannot get this to work on my machine. Here is what I have tried: * uninstall and reinstall * tried several recent previous versions * turned off virus protection programs (both during install and while running) All lead to the same crash.
